Chief Marketing Officer

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is the senior-most marketing leader responsible for defining, developing, and executing the organization’s overall marketing strategy. This executive oversees all brand, digital, growth, product, and communications functions to drive awareness, engagement, demand generation, customer acquisition, and long-term revenue growth. The CMO partners closely with executive leadership—especially Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations—to ensure marketing efforts directly support the company’s strategic objectives.

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  1. Develop and own the company’s marketing vision, positioning, and multi-year strategic roadmap.
  2. Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing marketing organization across brand, digital, growth, communications, product marketing, and creative.
  3. Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering on corporate strategy, market expansion, and business planning.

Brand, Positioning & Communications

  1. Define and elevate the company’s brand architecture, storytelling, messaging, and market differentiation.
  2. Oversee PR, communications, and reputation management, ensuring a unified and consistent brand presence across all channels.
  3. Build thought leadership and executive visibility programs to strengthen market credibility.

Demand Generation & Growth

  1. Lead end-to-end demand generation strategy across digital, paid media, lifecycle, ABM, events, and partnerships to drive qualified pipeline.
  2. Optimize conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), LTV, and revenue-attached marketing KPIs.
  3. Partner closely with Sales and RevOps to create seamless lead flow, attribution models, and forecasting.

Digital, Data, and MarTech

  1. Oversee the full MarTech ecosystem, ensuring proper integration, adoption, and performance across automation, CRM, analytics, and AI-driven tools.
  2. Implement data-driven decision-making and performance measurement across all marketing functions.
  3. Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging AI, personalization, automation, and analytics to improve efficiency and return on marketing spend.

Product & Customer Marketing

  1. Lead product marketing strategy, including segmentation, go-to-market (GTM), value propositions, pricing, and competitive intelligence.
  2. Drive lifecycle marketing, retention programs, loyalty, and customer advocacy.
  3. Ensure customer voice, insights, and feedback loops influence product roadmap and experience design.

Team Leadership & Development

  1. Build and mentor a diverse, high-impact marketing team with strong capabilities in brand, performance, digital, product, and creative.
  2. Establish operating rhythms, KPIs, and performance expectations aligned with company goals.
  3. Cultivate a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and collaboration.
  1. 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including senior-level ownership of brand, digital, and growth functions.
  2. Proven success driving measurable revenue impact and scaling marketing organizations in high-growth or transformation-focused environments.
  3. Deep expertise across brand, demand generation, digital marketing, product marketing, analytics, and MarTech/RevOps.
  4. Strong understanding of modern and AI-driven marketing tools, data platforms, automation, and performance measurement.
  5. Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.
  6. Experience in B2B, B2C, SaaS, consumer products, or multi-channel environments depending on the company’s focus.
